Celebrate Space Day this Saturday (9th)

Celebrate one of God's greatest creations -- Space! It's Space Day this Saturday (9th) at the San Diego Air & Space Museum!

Touch a flown space shuttle tire! See a flown Apollo capsule, space suits, and Moon rocks! Kids 11 and under are free with a paid adult admission.

Space Day is an annual international education and public outreach initiative. Since Space Day's inception in 1997, people around the world have been introduced to space-related science, technology, engineering and mathematics. This year's theme is "Celebrating Human Space Flight: Past, Present and Future." In formal and informal learning settings around the world, students, teachers, friends and families will celebrate the accomplishments of space exploration by engaging in math and science educational activities.
